I have been thinking about food more and more lately. Where does it come from, is it processed, where is it grown?

The sad thing is is that I couldn’t tell you what goes in to make a homemade stew but I could definitely tell you what a “number three” is on the Wendy’s value meal…

 Yes! That! That is so much the problem with American food culture. (It’s not just American food culture; it’s spreading. But it’s definitely worst in the US.) Even “home cooking” these days is opening jars and bags of pre-seasoned, pre-cooked food and reheating it.

The rest of her post is worth reading, too. But that resonated with me.
